FPO

May 4, 2009

I’m a big fan of Armin Vit’s blogs—UnderConsideration, BrandNew, SpeakUp and TheDesignEncyclopedia. He’s just announced a new one, FPO (ForPrintOnly) that’s worth subscribing to.

One of the first postings is a detailed look at Amelia Lyon’s $2,000 business card project. It features red stitching by sewing machine, hand-applied stickers and letterpress printing. Costing a mere $1.33 per card, they occupy the other end of the spectrum from cards printed at OvernightPrints.com.

MOOOOO!

Moo Mini-Cards

Moo Mini-Cards

My favorite mini-card printer, MOO, just opened up its US store and is offering reduced costs for shipping. In fact, through May 6, you can get FREE shipping on orders of $20 or more. Use this code: CYN4HU on the payment page. Their cards feature stunning double-sided printing on super sleek laminated stock. The distinctive petite size is an attention-getter, too. You can actually have 100 different designs printed on 100 cards in one order.

If you only have 50 ideas in your head at one time, their standard business card size is available in batches of 50, each with a separate image. How cool is that?

I’ve also had great success with their postcards, where you can have 20 different images printed on 20 cards.
